experience & achievements

As a filmmaker and media student, I’ve collaborated with professional teams, led student crews, and produced content covering athletics, school programs, and live events. These opportunities have strengthened my leadership, storytelling, and technical production skills while allowing me to create media with real impact.

my first ever film

1.
first time directing a crew
My first serious film project began with Super Sport, a short film created for the Norco Film Festival’s Car Culture challenge. Inspired by classic street-racing cinema and Southern California car culture, the film combined storytelling, cinematography, and action to portray the legacy of a 1967 Nova SS and the underground racing scene surrounding it.
2.
my first ever serious film
Working with a student crew, coordinating drivers, planning shots, and filming across multiple locations, this project pushed me to think like a director and problem-solve in real production conditions. From camera mounting and moving shots to scene blocking and editing a cohesive narrative, Super Sport was my first true experience leading and executing a cinematic vision.
3.
the impact
The film went on to win 1st Place at the Norco Classic Car Show Film Festival — it went on big screen and was a milestone that confirmed my passion for filmmaking and showed me what was possible through storytelling and teamwork.

My Biggest Chapter
Joining a media team
and how it changed me

Joining a media team
Following that experience, I joined the CNUSD Digital Media Team and the HorseTownHighStudio's media team, where I began working in real production environments beyond the classroom.
These opportunities expanded my skills and opened doors to filming athletics, school programs, and community events. I gained hands-on experience producing content for social media, capturing sports photography and videography, and collaborating with professional teams and student crews.
Through this work, I’ve covered major events, created media for district initiatives, and filmed in environments I never imagined being part of. These experiences shaped my growth as a filmmaker, strengthened my leadership abilities, and helped define my path in visual storytelling.
How I want to continue to learn
Continuing to grow through practice, collaboration, and real-world experience.
I want to continue developing my craft by learning new techniques, refining my storytelling, and gaining hands-on experience in diverse environments.
By working with other creators, studying professional work, and challenging myself with new projects, I aim to strengthen both my technical skills and creative voice. Growth comes from consistency and curiosity, and I am committed to practicing, improving, and pushing my work to a higher level.
