When I was learning I quickly figured out that film is how I want to make an impact. It allows me to visually tell stories that matter and reach people in many meaningful ways. Films are emotional, and powerful and especially entertaining.
I want to earn a degree in film so I can help create stories that reveal and reflect real experiences. Film has the power to show perspectives we may never live by ourselves. I aspire to make films that comfort, challenge, and inspire people and families to those who watch them and watch them together.
For me, film is an opportunity to contribute my passion into something meaningful to the world. I see this scholarship to boost me and help jumpstart my skills needed to create films that leave a lasting impact.

my achievements
I first discovered my passion for media through my video production class, where I began learning the fundamentals of filming and storytelling. My first major step came when I joined the CNUSD Digital Media Team (DMT) and the HorseTownHighStudios media team, experiences that pushed me to grow creatively and technically. Those opportunities helped shape my skills and laid the foundation for where I am today.

My goal is to use film and digital media to tell meaningful stories that connect people and capture real experiences. Through sports coverage, school productions, and community projects, I strive to create visuals that inspire pride, preserve important moments, and represent the spirit of those involved. As I continue growing as a filmmaker, I aim to develop my craft at a professional level and create work that informs, inspires, and leaves a lasting impact.
